SpringSource Tool Suite 2.6.1 and 2.7.0.M1 Released

We are pleased to announce the 2.6.1 release of the SpringSource Tool Suite (STS) and the 2.7.0.M1 release of SpringSource Tool Suite (STS). The 2.6.1 release brings you vFabric tc Server 2.5 packaged and supported, and bug fixes for tc Server instance creation. The 2.7.0.M1 release mostly provides new features for Groovy & Grails developers.

Spring Roo 1.1.4 Released

We are happy to announce the availability of Spring Roo 1.1.4, featuring over 90 improvements and bug fixes since the 1.1.3 release. Spring Roo is a rapid application development tool for Java, allowing you to create full enterprise applications in just minutes. The next release of Roo will be 1.2.0.M1 where new features will be introduced.

Spring Web Services 1.5.10 and 2.0.2 Released
 
Spring Web Services
Both Spring Web Services 1.5.10 and 2.0.2 are released and include some worthy updates in and of themselves, but, importantly, both also resolve a potential security issue. It is recommended that users upgrade as soon as possible. For the changes in these releases, please see the respective changelogs.

At the recent QCon London conference, Juergen Hoeller had the opportunity to sit down and talk with Charles Humble about lots of Spring 3.1 details, including the new caching abstraction for Spring 3.1, conversation support for web applications and other uses, the new Spring Data projects for accessing noSQL stores, Spring’s relation to Java EE standards and plans for Spring 3.2.
