VMware vFabric Cloud Application Platform
At VMworld 2010, VMware announced the new vFabric cloud application platform. vFabric comprises the developer tools and frameworks that are familiar to the Spring community combined with application platform services like elastic application runtime, cloud messaging and data grid capabilities from existing SpringSource products.
Rod Johnson explains the strategy and gives some technical details behind vFabric in his recent blog post.

| Spring 3.0.4 Released |
|
|
|
Spring 3.0.4 is now available for download. The release addresses over 80 minor issues and updates Spring’s support for some recent third-party releases including Hibernate Core 3.6, Hibernate Validator 4.1, EclipseLink 2.1 and EHCache 2.2. |
