SpringSource Acquires Rabbit Technologies: Open Source Messaging System Ideal for Cloud Computing

On April 13, 2010, SpringSource announced that VMware acquired Rabbit Technologies Ltd., an open source software company based in the United Kingdom. SpringSource will add the RabbitMQ open messaging system into its suite of technologies, reducing the complexity associated with the development, deployment and management of enterprise applications.

Spring Web Flow 2.0.9 Released

SpringSource is pleased to announce that Spring Web Flow 2.0.9 is now available. The release includes minor bug fixes and an update to the version of Dojo that addresses a Dojo security vulnerability. In addition to the 2.0.x maintenance, the Web Flow project team is currently working on a 2.1 release that provides a current generation version of Web Flow that builds on Spring 3. And work continues toward the first 3.0 milestone for the next generation of Web Flow.
