SpringSource Tool Suite 2.3.2M2 and Eclipse 3.6

SpringSource has released a new milestone version of SpringSource Tool Suite: 2.3.2.M2. Plus, users can now install STS on top of the much anticipated release - Eclipse 3.6. STS provides the best Eclipse-powered development environment for building Spring and Grails powered enterprise applications.

Grails 1.3.3 and Groovy Eclipse 2.0.2

Grails 1.3.3 contains numerous bug fixes and small improvements. Please see the changelog for a list of issues which have been addressed or post questions on the new community Grails forum.

The Groovy Eclipse 2.0.2 release provides the very best developer tools for Groovy 1.7.3 and fixes for over 80 jira issues. There are two versions available, an Eclipse 3.5 (Galileo) release and a new Eclipse 3.6 (Helios) version.

Spring AMQP 1.0.0.M1 Released

We are pleased to announce that the first milestone release of the Spring AMQP 1.0 project is now available for both Java and .NET!

Spring AMQP makes common Spring idioms available to developers who are building AMQP-based messaging solutions. For example, building a messaging application that uses RabbitMQ as a broker will feel quite similar to building an application based on Spring's JMS support.

The Spring Roo 1.1.0.M2 release features over 140 enhancements, fixes and new features, including:

Apache Tomcat 7.0.0 Beta Now Available

The first Apache Tomcat 7 release, Tomcat 7.0.0 beta, is now available from the Tomcat 7 download page at the Apache Software Foundation. Learn more about the new features of Tomcat 7.

First Eclipse Gemini Blueprint Milestone Ships

The first milestone of Gemini Blueprint is available for download. Part of the Gemini project, Blueprint builds on top of the Spring Dynamic Modules v2 code base and is the Reference Implementation for the OSGi 4.2 Blueprint specification. Besides the changes reflecting the transition to the Eclipse Foundation, 1.0.0.M1 code base has been upgraded to the latest Spring framework release.
