Run your Spring apps on Google's cloud
Using SpringSource Tool Suite with Roo and Google Web Toolkit

Last month we announced the VMware and Google collaboration to make cloud applications more productive, portable and flexible. If you haven’t had a chance yet, view the Google I/O keynote and learn more about the announcement around Spring, Roo, STS and GWT.

The recent Spring Roo 1.1.0.M1 release allows developers to build working web applications – complete with a Google Web Toolkit (GWT) front end – in as little as 200 keystrokes. This release also includes a concurrent new version of SpringSource Tool Suite (STS 2.3.3.M1) which is optimized for the latest and greatest of Roo.

Learn more about how to use Roo and STS to create your first GWT application on the SpringSource team blog.
