Spring MVC 3.2 Preview Blog Series
Spring MVC 3.2 M1 will introduce asynchronous request processing support based on Servlet 3.0 and Rossen Stoyanchev covers all the new capabilities in a series of blogs. The posts cover basic asynch support, techniques for real-time updates, and making controller methods asynchronous. These features are all useful for better scalability control for modern web interactions so please provide feedback for this milestone.

Just as important to knowing how to configure the container, we will also discuss why you would choose one method over another, as well as how they can be mixed and matched.
