The last presentation in the SpringSource Tomcat Expert Seminar Series wrapped up on Thursday last week. The series was a huge success with packed presentations at every venue. Filip Hanik talked about all kinds of tuning attributes for Tomcat, the JVM and your operating system that allow you to squeeze every last ounce of performance out of your Tomcat instances. There was even a preview of the upcoming SpringSource tc Server. The series was such a success that a second series of seminars will be held in the Asia-Pacific region, the United States and Europe later this Spring.
