SpringSource at VMworld 2009

VMworld 2009 started yesterday in San Francisco and SpringSource has been an integral part of the show:

  • Rod Johnson was on stage with VMware CEO, Paul Maritz, for the opening keynote. Rod demonstrated some upcoming features of STS that allow targeting of Spring-powered applications to cloud environments including private clouds running on vSphere.
  • Adrian Colyer also made an appearance during Steve Herrod's technical keynote to preview some advanced features of SpringSource Cloud Foundry.
  • SpringSource engineers and technologists have been in the VMware booth demonstrating Hyperic HQ monitoring of virtual machines, STS tools for the cloud and, of course, Cloud Foundry.
