SpringOne 2GX 2009 - Wrap-up

SpringOne 2GX 2009 wrapped up with a ton of great sessions that confirmed the conference as the premier Java event of 2009. Detailed breakout sessions covered all the new things available in the Spring, Groovy and Grails universes. Highlights included:

• DI Wizardy with Spring Expression Language presented by community member and Spring In Action author, Craig Walls, provided details about the new configuration options for Spring beans.
• In Running Java and Grails applications on the Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud , cloud expert Chris Richardson discussed the systems and tools that helped him to create SpringSource Cloud Foundry.
• Groovy Ace, Guillaume Laforge, talked about how to use Groovy to Design your own Domain Specific Languages. With the release of STS 2.2, Groovy now has first class support in the Eclipse IDE.
