SpringOne 2GX 2009 Keynote: Rod Johnson

SpringOne 2GX 2009 in New Orleans was a fantastic success with some very exciting announcements. Fortunately for those that could not attend, InfoQ was there and captured a lot of the presentations. In his Opening Keynote address to all the conference attendees, Rod Johnson covered a little history, gave an overview of some to the Spring 3.0 features and invited a couple of guests to demonstrate some new technology.

• 0.34:08: Mark Fisher and Jeremy Grelle demonstrate an intelligent chat client that uses Spring Integration and Spring Blaze DS to do receiver aware routing.
• 0.52:35: Graeme Rocher, head of Grails development at SpringSource, demonstrates the new Groovy and Grails tooling in SpringSource Tool Suite 2.2.
• 1.04:00: For the finale, Jon Travis demonstrated the brand new tc Server Developer Edition, an enhanced Apache Tomcat that provides Java developers with unparalleled insight into the performance and behavior of their Spring applications.
