Groovy & Grails Release New Versions

Groovy and Grails Interview
Adding to the continued release train of open source software, both Groovy and Grails have just released new versions. In their recent interview with InfoQ, Grails lead, Graeme Rocher, and Groovy maestro, Guillaume Laforge, talked about the releases.

  • Grails 1.2: Graeme's recent blog post details some of the improvements including, a Dependency Resolution DSL, extended integration with the new Spring 3.0 and improvements to performance and memory consumption.
  • Groovy 1.7: In his latest blog entry, Guillaume discusses annotation enhancements, improved assertion capabilities, anonymous inner classes, GroovyConsole updates and much more.
