Today SpringSource announced their plans to release a new version of the popular SpringSource tc Server™ product, this time with a special Spring Edition. The tc Server is designed to be the best place to run Spring applications and with its lightweight footprint is ideally suited for modern virtual environments. Bruce Snyder's blog post contains lots of details, but briefly the Spring Edition includes:

• Deep visibility into the health and performance of Spring applications
• Automatic monitoring of application, data access and custom components
• Reporting on application server status, health and response times

The new version of tc Server is expected to be available in April, but interested community members can try out the Developer Edition, ask questions on the tc Server forum, or attend the technical webinar that will go into detail about the product.
