SpringOne 2GX Video: Cloud Foundry - Inside the Machine

In this SpringOne 2GX 2011 session, Mark Fisher and Thomas Risberg transform a monolithic enterprise application by changing its relational DB with a NoSQL one, introducing modularity, adding polyglot support and incorporating message queuing and event driven request processing using common enterprise integration patterns. The resulting application is capable of handling significantly greater load, has better horizontal scalability and is efficiently architected for cloud platforms. If you are looking to see how to evolve your application design to new cloud paradigms then this is a great talk to watch.
